Today, your sightseeing features the Yu Garden; the bustling shopping street, Nanjing Road, and the Bund, the famous promenade along the Huangpu River.
After breakfast, go on a full day excursion to Zhouzhuang, the No. 1 Water Town of China. Visit the Hall of Shen's residence, the Milou Tower and the Chengxu Taoist Temple. Then drive back to Shanghai.
Your morning is free at leisure. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Yichang. Enjoy dinner upon arrival, then board a 5-star Victoria Cruises’ ship and begin your memorable journey on the Yangtze River.
This morning, your cruise takes you on a shore excursion at the Three Gorges Dam site. Then sail through the five stages of the Three Gorges’ double-lane ship lock. Your cruise continues and passes through the first and longest gorge, Xiling Gorge. Tonight, join the Captain’s Welcome party.
Today’s excursion will include boarding a smaller vessel to sail up the Danning River to view the scenery of the Small Gorges. Then continue to cruise through the first two of the famous Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge.
Today’s shore excursion is to Shibaozhai, famous for its 12-story wooden pagoda built against a sheer cliff on the river bank over some 400 years ago.
**Depending on local river conditions, an alternate shore excursion to Wanzhou may occur.
This morning, your cruise arrives in the mountainous city of Chongqing, where you disembark. You will travel to Eling Park to visit the giant pandas. After lunch, transfer to airport for a flight to Kunming. Tonight, enjoy an opportunity to experience the nightlife and culture at Kunming.
Take an excursion to the remarkable Jiuxiang, and visit the Stone Forest in the afternoon. Known primarily for its limestone caves, Jiuxiang also boasts an underground waterfall and an awesome gorge. Tonight, the famous Yunnan specialties including Across Bridge Rice Noodle and chicken broth are served for dinner.
Take the morning flight to Dali and enjoy a cruise on the beautiful Erhai Lake with a visit to a fishing village on one of the islands, taste of famous “Three Courses Tea” and the entertainment of Bai Minority Folklore Dance. In the afternoon, visit the Three Pagodas, known as the symbol of Dali. Spend some time strolling the stone streets of Dali’s Old Town.
In the morning, a three-hour coach ride will bring you to Lijiang. Upon arrival, explore the cobblestone street, Mu Wag Palace and Black Dragon Pool, renowned for its flowers and pavilions, and the dongba Cultural Institute. Tonight you will enjoy the performance by the ancient Naxi Music after the “Wang’s Family Banquet” dinner.
Go on an excursion to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain where you'll take a chairlift to Yak Meadow. This famous mountain ascends 18,000 ft. and is made up of 13 peaks resembling jade pillars. You may also visit the White Water River, Yufeng Lama Temple and Baisha Village with its Ming-dynasty frescoes.
Board a flight bound back to Kunming. Upon arrival, visit the Dianchi Lake located in Western Hills of Kunming city. Take a cable car ride to the Dragon Gate and marvel at this magnificent stone-carved edifice. With an elevation of 2,050 meters above sea level, the Dragon Gate is the highest temple on the hill. We continue to visit Hua Ting Temple, the largest Buddhist complex in Kunming.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong where you will connect your return flight back to hometown.
