We start our China vacation by boarding an international flight bound for Beijing, the capital of modern-day China.
Arrive at Beijing. After clearing customs and retrieving our baggage, we are met by our tour guide and transferred to the five-star hotel.
Our Beijing tour begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Proceed to Forbidden City, and next to Summer Palace. Return to the city and make a stop at Qianmen Street. Enjoy local cuisine for dinner and take in a stage show “The Legend of Kungfu” tonight.
Built to protect its people from northern marauders, the Great Wall snakes its way thousands of miles across Northern China and is one of the few objects on the earth visible even from the moon. Spend time walking atop this man-made wonder of the world, then descending to visit the Olympic Park and make photo stops at some new attractions including the “Bird’s Nest” National Stadium, the “Water Cube” Aquatics Centre and the National Grand Theatre. For dinner, we indulge our plates with the famed Peking Duck Banquet.
This morning, on our way to the airport for a flight bound to Xian, we finally make a stop at the Temple of Heaven. As the cradle of ancient Chinese civilization, Xian had served as the capital city for 11 dynasties until the 9th century. Upon arrival, we are transferred to our hotel. For dinner the local Shaanxi hot pot cuisine is served.
Xian is home to the life-sized Terra-Cotta Warriors of Qin Shi Huang. Made to protect China’s first emperor even in death, the Terra-Cotta Army was found by a farmer in 1974 and attracts thousands of visitors each year. After viewing the fine troops, we head to Hua Qin Hot Springs. This evening we enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet. Afterwards, catch a performance of the captivating Tang Dynasty Stage Show, the very one lauded in all the guide books as being a “must see” in Xian.
This morning we visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the best-preserved Buddhist temples in China. Later we head to the airport and pass by the massive Old City Wall and Bell Tower. Board a flight to Guilin, a lush city renowned for its remarkable natural scenery said to be “unmatched in Heaven.” Check into hotel unpon arrival at Guilin. Enjoy the local cuisine - rice noodles for dinner.
A meandering river cruise down the Li River is a delightful way to savor the serene, fairytale scenery of Southern China. We may even catch the fascinating sight of fishermen fishing with cormorant birds! Lunch is served aboard. The cruise ends at Yangshuo. We disembark and wander around the town with visits to the Moon Hill, Big Banyan, and the ancient “West Street”. When the sun sets, we are entertained by the fantastic Minority Musical Stage Performance on Li River - “Yingxiang Liusanjie”. The show is directed by Chinese famous director Yimou Zhang (The admission will be fully refunded if the show is canceled due to any nature elements) .
After breakfast, we head back to Guilin by motorcoach and begin our city tour of Guilin with a visit to the Reed Flute Cave where fantastic stalactite and stalagmite formations impress us as magical and other worldly. Venture on to Elephant Trunk Hill, a longstanding symbol of Guilin that once appeared on Chinese currency notes. Board a domestic short flight to the cosmopolitan city, Shanghai, China’s largest city.
Our morning tour of Shanghai takes us to Yu Garden, the bustling Nanjing Road, and the famous waterfront Bund. The afternoon is free at leisure. This evening, we attend an exciting Chinese Acrobatics Performance following a nice Shanghai cuisine dinner. .
After a nice breakfast in hotel, we travel to Suzhou. Suzhou city tour explores the Grand Canal and continue visits to the Humble Administrator’s Garden and Hanshan Temple. We may also visit to one of the famed Silk factory if we have time. On the way heading back to Shanghai, we pass the beautiful ancient town of Tongli. Surrounded by lakes and canal, Tongli is famous for its unique views of water, roads, bridges, gardens and residences.
In the morning, if time permits, you may continue exploring the city of Shanghai on your own pace before boarding a flight bound for Hong Kong, the “Asia’s World City”.
A half-day city tour takes us around Hong Kong Island and up to Victoria Peak by cable car for a panoramic view of the harbour. The city tour continues with visits to the open-air Stanley Market and the floating community at Aberdeen. After our tour, the rest of the day is spent at leisure.
Bid Hong Kong a fond farewell as we board our homebound international flight. Cross the International Date Line and arrive back in the US.

1. Unused tour features: Any unused tour features either on air transportation or for land arrangements are not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.
2. When the total number of tour members should fall below 10 people, we reserve the right to cancel the tour or operate as a locally hosted tour. If we cancel the tour, the tour fare except visa fees will be refunded.
3. Deviation Charge: In addition to the airline, hotels, or transfer surcharge, there will be a US$50 per person service charge for any deviation from the tour and subject to availability.
4. Change Fee: After your reservation is confirmed, US$50 will be charged for each of the subsequent changes. Once documents / tickets have been issued, no change is permitted.
5. Charges for Child: Child 11 and under, if they share bed in a twin room with two adults, will be charged at the 85% of a regular adult price; if they request an extra bed in the same room with two adults, the cost will be same as the regular adult price. Child 12 and older will be charged at the regular adult price.
Cancellations: all cancellations must be received either by mail, fax, or email. Oral cancellation by phone will not be accepted. In addition to our cancellation charges, if tickets for airlines, cruise or trains have already been issued or final confirmed at the time of cancellation (regardless of number of days prior to departure), the traveler will be assessed an additional cancellation penalty and service charge pursuant to the related supplier’s rules and regulations.
