Mexico and Maya Civilization Tour 7 Days

Itinerary

• Day 1 Hometown - Mexico City

  Today we start our South America tour to Mexico City, the capital city of Mexico, which is also the political and economic center of Mexico with much architecture of Spanish styles. In the afternoon, we may take a leisurely stroll on Zocalo Square and tour around Temple of Aztecs. Here in Mexico City you can sense and hear about many vivid stories about history.

• Day 2 Mexico City

  Highlight of today will be the Mexico National Museum of Anthropology, which makes a detailed description how the culture and civilization were developed in Mexico. Afterwards, we will visit the world heritage site – Xochimilco, which has now become a best place for local people to enjoy themselves. We continue our tour to Shrine of Guadalupe, where Mexican people often make prays.

• Day 3 Mexico City - Puebla - Mexico City

  Puebla, the forth largest city in Mexico, is best known as the City of Angel. It is the place where Cinco de Mayo took place on May 5. Meandering around you will see many splendid churches and delicate houses. Mole Poblano and China Poblana are both the famous local specialties.

• Day 4 Mexico City - Cancun

  Today we will set off to see Teotihuacan, which was built in the First Century B.C. It is an enormous archaeological site in the Basin of Mexico, containing some of the largest pyramidal structures built in the pre-Columbian Americas. Apart from the pyramidal structures, Teotihuacan is also known for its large residential complexes, the so-called "avenue of the dead", and its colorful well-preserved murals.

• Day 5 Cancun - Chichen Itza - Cancun

  We are going to have a full day tour to Chichen Itza, symbolizing Mayan Civilization and a a Mayan ceremonial center. Walking around and seeing many fabled pyramids and temples will give you an appreciation for this ancient civilization and world wonders. Actually, it is a place of majesty and mystery, where human sacrifice took place to appease ancient Gods.

• Day 6 Cancun

  Cancun is surely an ideal destination for a holiday, which perfectly showcases both the country’s breathtaking natural beauty and the depth of its 1,000-year history.
